The Croatian sensation is finally back in the octagon. After his disappointing entry into the UFC (see pic above) Cro Cop has since gone 3-0 in other fighting organizations. Mirko Cro Cop will be fighting the big bad Brit, Mostapha Al-Turk, at UFC 99 in Germany.
Al-Turk is a tough fighter but was TKO’d in his last fight and should be a perfect welcome back for Cro Cop as long as the Croatian shows up to fight. No one is really sure what Mirko’s problem was when he was in the UFC. He was timid and seemed out of sorts when he was fighting. He didn’t look to have the confidence or fire to fight like we had seen when he was in Pride mowing over opponents like Wanderlei Silva, Josh Barnett, Hidehiko Yoshida, Mark Coleman, Kevin Randleman, Kazushi Sakuraba, and Heath Herring. Cro Cop definitely has the potential to take the Heavyweight title, he just needs to fight like he does every where except in the UFC.
