UFC 97 is going to go down April 18th at 10pm ET/7pm PT and we will be at the ready with results. Anderson Silva is out to show he really is invincible. Thales Leites is lesser known then a lot of fighters out there but he is not to be taken lightly after defeating both Nate Marquardt and Drew McFedries in his last two fights.
The title of this event is really for Chuck Liddell. He is truly looking for redemption. We will see if this aging legend can defeat the once thought of toughest 205 pound fighter in the world, Shogun Rua.

Ok I’ma work up from the little to the big since its so late.
STOUT v WIMAN–Stout can go toe to toe w/ almost anyone & make a good fight. If Wiman has any sense he’ll keep it more belly to belly lol. Wiman by sub.

Ryo V Grant–Said Ryos strength is his “fighting spirit”. Ummm…this IS UFC lol. Grant is fairly well-rounded & I dont look for just fighting spirit to quite do it. Grant by sub.
Bocek V David B.–Hard to say much about either. Seems I may have seen both in other leagues. Going w/ DB by ….late KO?
The Crow VS Herman–Honestly? I dont look for much of a fight. Crow is a buzz saw just in a stacked division. Crow by ref stoppage 2nd round TKO.
I see its started lol, oh well.
MacD VS Quarry–Mac not a bad fighter. I do think Quarry is under-rated fighter & maybe needs to step it up on the training & being more well-rounded. Picking Quarry maybe early KO.
Kang VS Xavier–Kang looks like a complete ex-con looking for someone to kill lol. Both have a lot of fights w/ mixed results. Who to choose……X is from france. I’ll go w/ Kang lol by decision.
just going to post once more on top 2 fights since its already goin good.
1st FIGHT–Leites is a good fighter. Undefeated other than his debut against a pretty good fighter. But sorry. I think he picked a bad time to man up VS Silva. Silva takes a LOT of pride in what he does & after his last outing this would be a bad time for ANYONE VS him. Silva by KO & maybe earlier than a lot think.
2nd FIGHT–I think Shogun likes rings better than cages. Every1 was disappointed because he gassed against an old man w/ only ONE real gameplan to defend against. He was coming off a layoff & injury BUT he gassed on his debut VS Griffin too. Interesting because Chuck gasses too LOL. Chucks game took him a long way for a long time. Credit to him for upping his game lately & it will show tonight. Chuck w/ KO.
Cant help myself lol. Want to see how well I do or NOTSOMUCH.
Cantwell VS Cane–MAYBE a really good fight. I’ll go Cantwell by decision.
