Fight Night 17 is just a couple of weeks away. Headlined by the clash of Hermes Franca (19-7) versus the TUF Season 5 veteran Joe Lauzon (17-4), the event is set to take place in Tampa, Florida.
Franca is coming off of his recent decision victory over Marcus Aurelio at UFC 90, looking forward to another win in the Octagon after his two previous losses to Sean Sherk and Frankie Edgar.
No replacement fight has been named yet, but it is possible that Mac Danzig vs Josh “I Swear to Drunk I’m Not God” Neer could stepping forward to replace the headliner.
